Lichen?
Lichens occur in some of the most extreme environments on Earth—arctic tundra, hot deserts, rocky coasts, and toxic slag heaps. However, they are also abundant asepiphytes on leaves and branches in rain forests and temperate woodland, on bare rock, including walls and gravestones, and on exposed soil surfaces (e.g., Collema) in otherwise mesic habitats.

To catch a lizard
All species of plants, animals, and
insect grow well inFlorida's tropical climate.
Rescuing spiders from my wife's shower
has become a regular act of mercy (limited collateral damage). The
minute eight legs hits the dirt, a lizard is there to feast.
The current governor of Fla. would be
considered the spider or the lizard?

My favorite shooter
This latest Nikon will probably hit the high and low end of the photo enthusiast market.

This poem emerged as a flirtation that hasn't gotten out of control.
I have learned in the past twenty+ years the value of loving friends.
A friend who is a lover is to often denied and becomes neither in time.

What was on our minds, so foolishly sublime?
I can't tell you!
What I do know is this:
I want to share those feelings grand again.
Invite my soul, sins and all.
Let's make company, no need to call.
We'll jiggle, juggle, giggle and cry,
Share stories, lips and lies.
And always be friends as the crow flies.
Two young men meet and talk. One having completed a tour in Korea,
the other unsure of his future. After listening to a short chapter in the
life of a soldier, the future of the other becomes no less clear. But the
sense of it all is reassuring.
ALL THE THINGS WE WERE WE ARE
SO LITTLE DOES TIME CHANGE
TO MAKE US INTO WHAT WE'RE NOT
OH GOD! REARRANGE

A life clue
A young airman stands in his unit quadrangle while in charge of quarters
and stares in awe at the early evening sky. Was what he was about to see
a warning or a gift? The spectacular display of light inspired this next poem.
Yellow hues of crisp green lightening
Crackling past the moon.
Life is not a storm nor wonder
But an instant doomed.
