In Chinese philosophy, yin & yang, which are often shortened to "yin-yang" or "yin yang", are concepts used to describe how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary.
 Some Asian countries' flag is this symbol.

The automobile has historically been given feminine qualities.  Obviously it is driven by men of means who respect performance.  Is beauty power?  Look at her lines, the likes of which may be found in modern kitchens.  Refrigerators with wheels? ...and it continues to cost a fortune to fill'er up.

Mark Strand Pulitzer-Winning Poet Laureate



Absence, negation and death were abiding themes for Mr. Strand. In a sense, he wrote his epitaph many times over, most poignantly perhaps in “The Remains,” from his 1970 collection “Darker.”
