Single vision is using one side of the brain to interpret reality and make decisions.  Historically a ruling imperative allows leaders is to adopt such a viewpoint.  Having to take into account both sides of the brain, using both eyes to view their piece of the world seems to clash with the idea of who they are, or want for themselves and those that matter - the ones in power who support them.

Which side are you on

This article you may read, if you click on these words, describes a concussion.  It also means bipolar, the two in my opinion are synonymous.  The symptoms are the same.  The source of the malady may be different but the prognoses are the same.   Training, especially emotional support will give you back a lot of what you lost, or improve what you never had.
