Voyager 1 leaves solar system?

Image
Marc Swisdak and James F. Drake of the University of Maryland, and Merav Opher of Boston University contend that Voyager 1 is not where NASA believes it to be. "It's a somewhat controversial view, but we think Voyager has finally left the Solar System, and is truly beginning its travels through the Milky Way," says Swisdak.

Bipolar is a personality paint job.  You wake up white, and go to bed red or blue.  If anyone could see bi polar as a fixed colour, we (the bipolar population) would all be hanging from a poplar tree. I remember the fifties, and no one gave a damn about manic depressive behaviour.  You either conformed, or got your ass kicked a lot. By the seventies it was vogue to be anti establishment.  If you had a problem it was masked by a cloud of smoke, first person toker, or the one fired up by the enemy in N.Vietnam.  I think we crawl under a microscope in times of relative peace. The above is an opinionated view of a serious mental health problem.  If you or someone you know has problems with depression or believes he or she is bipolar please see a health care professional.
Socrates (469-399 B.C.), Greek philosopher. Quoted in: Plato, Apology, sct. 21. So I soon made up my mind about the poets too: I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled them to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean. Flirtation and epitaph

Poetry is like a puzzle. Everyone owns a piece of the final vision. Unfinished and vague until completion, it almost never conveys it's true meaning during construction, and remains dubious to all, even to it's creator, until the time is right. This  poem emerged as a flirtation that got out of control, and eventually and ironically became my future epitaph. In every way there is a wonder in the midst of thee. In every way there is a season just to set it free. In ways no one will ever know there is a land of free. In days God only knows my name he'll take from me. Tamp Florida, 1980

Ideas

While working as a photo lithographer developing ways to reproduce thin metal objects,   a manner of thinking was needed to proceed. How to create these snow flake shaped   pieces of metal to tight tolerances? The following poem is the very thought that helped   a small electronics company succeed with a developing product. Years later the photo   process, it's operator, all the chemicals and machines were replaced by the digital   pantograph. The idea still remains. Knowledge is an entity.   Knowledge occupies a point in time.   That which defines it becomes it's function.   It is a known.   Everything else with respect to the entity is unknown. Aether (ether) = properties of space  -  has been replaced in modern physics by the theory of relativity and quantum theory . (future generations will refer to quantum theory as a source of faith, the religion of the enlightened [not a pun, a coincidence?] ...an opinion. 1920: To deny the ether is ultimately to assume that empty space has no physical qualities whatever. The fundamental facts of mechanics do not harmonize with this view. For the mechanical behaviour of a corporeal system hovering freely in empty space depends not only on relative positions (distances) and relative velocities, but also on its state of rotation, which physically may be taken as a characteristic not appertaining to the system in itself. In order to be able to look upon the rotation of the system, at least formally, as something real, Newton objectivises space. Since he classes his absolute space together with real things, for him rotation relative to an absolute space is also s...
