Ideas

While working as a photo lithographer developing ways to reproduce thin metal objects,
a manner of thinking was needed to proceed. How to create these snow flake shaped
pieces of metal to tight tolerances? The following poem is the very thought that helped
a small electronics company succeed with a developing product. Years later the photo
process, it's operator, all the chemicals and machines were replaced by the digital
pantograph. The idea still remains.

Knowledge is an entity.
Knowledge occupies a point in time.
That which defines it becomes it's function.
It is a known.
Everything else with respect to the entity is unknown.
