As a student teacher, I met children who had very little.  Of course, there were those who had a sufficient life.  That made an impression on me and it prompted this poem.  Values are created in part by what we have and don't have. I worked for this company back in the day when the operating system was given the distinctive name of operating system 2.  I recently bumped into a person who said he was the only one of his group who was still employed by big blue after fifteen years.  It is still a fine place for hard working people.
