  The Ukraine uses drones like this one for reconnaissance.  They need hardware with longer range and hang times of an hour or more.  Knowing what's coming is obviously a logistical advantage.  The US has yet to develop a tactical non lethal military drone with expanded surveillance capabilities needed by Ukraine. (This type of drone may be in development for Ukraine) DJI is the commercial drone of choice for aerial pictures usually to asses destruction.
