  USA Some of the most talked about news in the US are the Pandora Dossier, the California oil spill, and the Nobel Prize winners in medicine. An international consortium of journalists based in the US capital, Washington, has conducted a massive investigation into corruption among world leaders. As a result of the global investigation, known as "Pandora's dossier» (Pandora papers), journalists became available nearly 12 million documents. The data reveal offshore schemes, tax evasion and, in some cases, money laundering by some of the world's most powerful people, government officials and their families. Among those mentioned in the investigation: King Abdullah II of Jordan, the family of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babishch, General Director of the Russian Channel One Konstantin Ernst, Svetlana Krivonogikh, who is called a close friend of the President of Russia. Environmental disaster threatens Southern California.
