Artificial Intelligence another oxymoron

Industrial AI  How people do work with technology  This is an add  that sells industrial technology.  Like any other large corporation the bottom line is their most important product.  This entry is here because it shows the state of  technology to date and how AI still depends on people to make the final decisions. 

Man is yet to be in control of his own intelligence (wars, famines, genocide, inept political practice...)  How is this transfer of ability to machines expected to be entirely successful  At most AI will be useful and allow complexity to manage an ever growing world population
