Giuseppe Verdi was born October 10, 1813, Le Roncole, near Busseto, Duchy of Parma. He died January 27, 1901, in Milan.  

Giuseppe Verdi - (full name Giuseppe Fortunato Francesco) - Italian composer. Master of opera, created the highest examples of psychological musical drama.
