Writer
If writing be done,
let it be in your face without contemplation. Nothing is left to the
imagination but whatever you agree with including the author's
ceaseless definition… this is the written word. You don't hear the
voice of the author playing between the lines adding innuendo with
suggestions of verbal superiority. The story is seducing enough no
matter what your age or who you are. You feel the urge to flip the
page. You are the slave of the chosen, the literary sage. He
becomes you and satiates all that your imagination thirst for. The
writer, the book, a look into the unknown from the view point of a
perfect stranger. Like the trash picker who was just at my door
wanting ten dollars, a cigarette, or a glass of milk with claims to
do minor lawn care with his own supplies. The consummate ragged
salesman/writer who hawks with words and no page.
