Think before the act

Why guns, and killing, war in our streets and homes? Who are we angry at, life, death, ourselves?

Legislation can’t stop killing, but it make harder for a person to commit a crime. In the sixties I was stationed in Spain. The country at that time was controlled by it’s dictator Francisco Franco. Non military personal were not allowed by law to own a hand gun, only a shotgun for hunting. Crime was ruthlessly suppressed. The number of unmarked graves in Spain at that time exceeded any other country in Europe. The people didn’t kill each other, the government did if it wanted to.

Democracy is not an excuse to use vigilante means to invoke justice. We as a people are the tool, the rule that determines how we act. Unfortunately free information is not free because it can binds usto the will and fiction of others. Think! Know who you are and what is right for your family, for the country before taking up arms and invoking your constitutional rights.

The gun in this picture is a water pistol. I don't own a gun.
