A meteor fell from the sky and was reduced in mass as it burned it's way through the earth's atmosphere The result was this three centimeter remnant of a large menacing rock  If you find this hard to believe then the other version of the story simply is that it went up in smoke and those that experienced the event were amazed beyond comprehension   See the disclaimer at the top of this blog
