                                                    WASHINGTON ( The Borowitz Report )—Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reportedly “exploded with rage” on Tuesday after a blood test he had required for all service members over 30 showed that he had “extremely high” levels of estrogen. According to those familiar with the test results, Hegseth’s estrogen count would place him in the 99th percentile of all women. Mascara streaking down his cheeks, Hegseth howled in protest, claiming that the blood test “reeked of DEI.” “I wasn’t surprised by his reaction,” said the doctor who administered the test. “It’s that time of the month.”  

We meet countless people throughout our lives. Some become close friends, some remain casual acquaintances, and others pass through our lives as complete strangers. Being open to people we do not know can lead to new friendships and meaningful experiences. But not every relationship carries the same history, trust or emotional connection. "ICE has once again killed two innocent individuals. When 52-year-old husband and father Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot a week ago in Houston, DHS lied that he had “weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run over an ICE law enforcement officer.” A week later, when 26-year- old husband and father Joan Sebastian Guerrero was killed in Biddeford, Maine, DHS retreated to the meaningless claim that the agent who shot Guerrero was “fearing for public safety.” ICE has shared no evidence from videos or witnesses about what actually happened in either case. It has not told us who those agents, acting and killing in our name, are. We do know that they were supposed to be looking for men other than the ones they shot.   Our Lady of Good Hope       At our holy roman catholic church is an eclectic group of followers who appreciate the mass (religious service) as it has been for a very long time  The atmosphere is serious  Tradition and rules abound but we all appreciate the fact that little change has occurred by the edicts of Rome since the 4th century BC  Afterwards we gather to relax in community and share food and stories something we all look forward too, especially the occasional ridiculous which is humorous - like Paul’s bananas  Grotesque to look at but still good to eat (so we are told) Time to laugh   A meeting with serious intent can end up being fun
