 Dear Uncle Roger,

I’m sorry for getting us off on a slippery slope, but I can’t apologize for stating my concerns based on facts widely supported by conscientious Americans.

 The country is fighting for the very soul of its Republic – it is not about policy at this juncture. Trump does not care for the American people – he cares about not landing in prison for all the 90+ legal counts he is facing in 5 different court cases from New York to Miami and Fulton County, Atlanta, Georgia. He cares about exacting revenge against some if not all, of his 40 cabinet members who FEAR what WILL happen if he is nominated again. Our twice impeached, ex-President, Loser of 2020, who people still believe is the best choice we have to lead our country into the future?

Trump wants to override our Constitution and his Oath of Office which he ignored by preventing a PEACEFUL exchange of power on Jan 6, three years ago. And Trump violated the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the Constitution when he accepted millions of dollars from Qatar, India, and China while in office! This is after he lied about the divestiture of his foreign and global holdings, thereby maintaining a conflict of interest between himself and the welfare of our Nation and Citizens.

I’m not against many of the OLD Republican values – those of Mitt Romney, John McCain, or Eisenhower. But not the crazy MAGA Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Green, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan, and Lauren Bobartt. Their ideologies will ruin our very fragile Republic. We cannot trust anyone who gives easy answers to complicated questions. These same types capitalize on FEAR, which as with Hitler’s 1930’s Germany led to Fascism. We must understand the difference between democracy and mob rule!
