Just gnashing and dashing

The fruits malcontent

A lifetime in perilous jaded rent

For memories and feelings with earnings ill spent

I can find the root of my problems, but the tree still grows

And those who find shade with me also know

The fruit is bitter

The shade does more good

Than feed an appetite 

That never was good
