How well does Putin play the fiddle

John Bolton suggests that Putin can play Trump like a fiddle. The truth is that under the forty-fifth U.S. president, the bilateral relationship with Russia is now as bad as at any time since the early 1980s.  By

"The issue of transfer of power is relevant for Russia… The stability of the state structure and the prospects for the country’s development ultimately depend on the strength of political institutions, on the trust of people in them and on the influx of new forces into politics. Otherwise — inertia, stagnation and political apathy. We know from recent history what dangers they pose.” --  Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev

A view presented as others see us.  Bolten's book, The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir, is seen as a premeditated vehicle intended to make him rich - the opinion of the Moscow Times.

Is chaos a way of life?  Why think of the consequence of our actions as mistakes that are constantly corrected or ignored to place us where we are at today? Planning and forethought lead us ultimately to conclusions we can be proud of.  Blatantly ignoring what we believe are facts does place us in a precarious future.  The book that outlines the possibilities for limited educated approximations for development is only a warning of what should be obvious.  So much so that others around the world are able to read our intentions with mixed reactions some of which are dead on.
