Americans believe the police are protecting themselves from presidential angst - the loss of their jobs  Do Russians believe the same way about their leader   By now they must see the propaganda on the wall (which is no longer there)  How long will a lifetime of control last for Mr. Putin   How long can authoritarianism last for any country


Some of the above is obviously not true - read the disclaimer at the top of this page  Of course some will take it as it is written because they want to make it so
