Opinion - Who Leads Us

Is anyone qualified to run a country that demands equality for all while keeping their own personal interest first.

No such party or person exist.  No political party is worth supporting when they are unable to understand the  compromises that challenge their beliefs.  The person who satisfies power over humane principles places us all at jeopardy with a discriminant economy and diminishing global integrity.

Someone who can unite differences without sacrificing personal ideals is not a real person.  We demand leadership without working towards solutions ourselves.  Success in solving a social problem begins with the people who own the problem.  Many are already doing this and need the support of a leader who recognizes the importance of their vision and effort.

While technology appears fast, change remains slow.  Who will take responsibility for allowing the puzzle that is life to fit together so the bigger picture becomes clear?

Therefore we work together or fight one another in an never ending war of words and self interest.

George Floyd was more than a person or a current world cause. He was the consequence of not coming together and accepting each other for who we really are.

Do these words help to make change?  Talk to your congressmen and senators, your neighbors and friends.  What do they think is the answer that will keep peace in a world that seeks to just live without retaliation - a free world.
