Where are all the aliens

The Fermi Paradox may suggest there is an abundance of life in the universe.  It isn't ready to show itself.  The earth represents a minute speck of time in it's 200,000 year development compared to other worlds and has evolved intelligent life as we define it. Our brand of awareness may be so primitive as to not to appear as intelligence at all, therefore it does not attract attention from alien life forms because we simply don't exist - just as they are not anywhere to be found.  This is my humble response to why we are all alone and soon to be extinct like the others before us if we don't get our earth ship together.
