Blogging about Putin's war is depressing and allows overthinking   Ukraine is devastated  There will be no peace without unwilling compromise Lives lost and families fragmented for the sake of one man who fights old wars during times of peace and prosperity for most but not all   This historic travesty will not be forgotten by anyone people at any time
