Did I remember to forget
To play the game of life with wit
To know man is but a gift
He bears our strife and our guilt

Good or bad I know not which
Upon his soul my name is built
Take not my child's humanity
Vanquish none just to see

What life offers you and me
Cruel death unites eternally
