Who we friend

We meet countless people throughout our lives. Some become close friends, some remain casual acquaintances, and others pass through our lives as complete strangers.

Being open to people we do not know can lead to new friendships and meaningful experiences. But not every relationship carries the same history, trust or emotional connection. An Ethiopian saying encourages us to welcome others and show them kindness, while also reminding us not to take our closest relationships for granted.
